I spent three days talking to SO MANY brides that I've now lost my voice!

Probably the last outing for this stand design, I want to add some cool new things for next time around in October.



Here's an engaged couple being shown through some wedding albums by my friend and oh-so-talented superstar, Jodie. Last year I gave out 650 brochures at the show, which I thought was a lot. This year Jodie got through 2,600! That's um... all of them?! She's my secret weapon.





After a while, late on Sunday afternoon we got bored and decided to take some photographs. So we stole a dress from the lovely ladies at Grace Couture. It wasn't easy I should say, their stand was buzzing all weekend long with girls trying on their gorgeous dresses. It was hard for us to sneak Jodie's favourite out without them noticing. ;-)



And first we headed to our neighbours, DJ's Inc. who have the most awesome colour changing LED dance floor. It's so retro disco, if you're having a dance floor you've GOT to check this one out. Call Phil and his team on 02476 730 148. They're also great DJ's, by the way!

Zenfolio is an amazing system that lets me get customers images online and fulfil print orders so much faster. It also offers slideshows, email links, facebook tie-ins, and comments and guest books, which I hope everyone will take advantage of!

I'm hoping to get an exciting new website launched in time for the national wedding show, but it's taking a little while to get all the images transferred over before the old gallery disappears. At the weekend I attended the first wedding fayre at St. James Church, Shirley. It was a chance for the church to welcome engaged couples and their families, and showcase some highly local wedding suppliers.

I keep forgetting to turn the camera on my own stand at these things! But I really was there!

My neighbour from Bedazzled Desserts. Shelley is a California girl and is as sweet as the cupcakes she makes. Think about it - your own bespoke, customised (yeah, I know that's the same thing) cupcakes for any occasion, not just weddings. What could be nicer?



Best catered wedding fayre I ever attended, thanks to the elite catering core of the mothers union. You don't get cups of tea brought to you at the NEC, do you?

I'd been asked by so many brides about these kind of images that I thought it was time I started offering them instead of sending them along to another photographer they'd never met!

The response has been great from both my customers, brides who're already using another photographer for their wedding, and other women who've heard about us from someone else.

We've just got time to arrange a shoot for you and have some prints and your CD-ROM in time to give him on the 14th. Or you can have a gift voucher and the promise of an exciting present to come.

For the handful of dedicated grooms who read this blog (right on guys, thanks) you could drop some hints to test the waters, and then buy your sweetheart a photoshoot. Every time we've done this, the girls have told us they got just as much out of it as their partner did.
